About Jane's inspiration for the Names Of God Series . . .El Shaddai, Jehovah Rophe, Abba Father:
In both the Old and New Testament languages, the name of God, when used in a situation, further described Him, honoring His specific characteristics. This ever-growing series now includes:
- El Shaddai, which means Lord God Almighty, our all-sufficient provider, as found in Psalm 16:1 and other references. The hands are raised in praise to El Shaddai.
- Abba Father confirms our sonship into God's family, as found in Romans 8:15. I especially wanted to depict God's loving arms enfolding each of us, His children.
- Jehovah Rophe, means "The Lord Heals Me", as found in 2 Kings 20:5.
- Yeshua-Messiah-Savior Cuff Bracelet - "The Savior - yes, the Messiah, the Lord - has been born tonight
in Bethlehem, the city of David!" Luke 2:11
